With this Singer serger, you can create garments and gifts with professional results every time! The Professional 5 sews at 1,300 stitches per minute. It has 5/4/3/2 thread capability and differential feed. It has a fully automatic self adjusting tension system and adjustable stitch width. Six presser feet are included: Taping, Cording, Shirring, Blindstitch Hem, Elastic and Beading.
This machine is so awesome for the price and quality. I love this serger it is my second serger purchased in 16 years so threading didn't scare me. Threading by the book and cd was a breeze to follow . the machine is smooth and quiet and really a timesaver with the chain stitch. Uou can make a dress or two in a day. Singer you have outdone yourself

This is a fantastic serger. Wish I had found this sight sooner because I paid $700 at a local merchant for this same machine. This is my first serger. Although the threading process intimidated me at first, I just kept trying and making mistakes as I went, but through this process I have learned that all I can do is break the thread and have to start over again. I also learned to ALWAYS do a test sample! With this machine, I have been able to make some very professional looking projects. I definitely recommend this machine.

This machine is everything I expected and more. It is very durable the selection of stitches is great! You can produce sophisticated finishes to any garment or home dec project. This machine sells for $800+ everywhere else I checked. I bought it from Sewing Machines Plus for significantly less than that.

I Love this machine, it meets my expectations. I make dresses hats, & purses, & this machine is works great. I thought the threading would be hard, but it’s so easy (once I got the hang of it). Like all sergers threading is a big problem especially to those that are new, or are just clueless even when following instructions (which is me sometimes). I’ll admit it’s going to be hard to thread at first but take the time read the instructions, (I also found a You tube video on how to thread it) but once you got it, it’s a breeze. The results that I get from this machine are GREAT, I honestly cant stop using it. I don’t recommend this machine for a person who is new to sewing you’re just going to get frustrated, and probably chuck out the window, just go for a low end low price serger or take a couple of sewing classes or ask a specialist who knows sewing machines to help you out with this machine, like with anything new, practice makes perfect. Also if threading is such a difficultiing and you honestly don’t want to deal with it. I recommend you to spend the money a buy a self threading serger like a Baby Lock.
