I researched and tested quilting machines with a table option before making my purchase in spring 2010. As a long-time machine quilter and as a quilting instructor, I appreciated the opportunity to select the HQ 16 model which has performed in the floor-frame set up before being offered as a stationary model with a sturdy and non-vibrating table.
The machine performs well with the variety of thread weights I use on traditional bed quilt designs as well as for my art pieces.
And if I ever decide to use a floor frame set up, I have the option of continuing to use the HQ 16.
