When Stephanie Brandenburg began her art in fabric movement it was a revolution. Inspired by quilts from the past, she recognized the art in quilting. Each stitch tells a story. As she put together fabric for customers at her mother’s; shop she could see there was a story in the color too. When she began designing fabric she did it the only way she knew, she painted it. That fierce commitment to art has been the driving force behind her company Frond Design Studios Inc.

Frond is now 8 years old and Stephanie has learned a lot but the art continues to propel Frond into the world of quilting and sewing. When you work with Frond fabrics you work with the best. They tell a story just like the projects they are made into. Frond has delved into the world of showing others how to start creating their own art quilts and projects. Stephanie teaches her students to put their voice into the work, relax and bring out that inner artist. Stephanie is bringing her revolution to SewingMachinesPlus.com! Learn How To Paint on Quilt

Stephanie Brandenburg brings you her portfolio of beautiful blooms! Learn how to create patterns like stained glass inside each bloom. Your sewing machine becomes your tool to create 3 dimensional art techniques. You get to choose your blooms, embellishments and unlock your inner artist. We guide you step by step through each technique and you get a step by step instruction booklet to take home. We show how different feet can achieve unique results and most of all we take the fear out of Art Quilting and more!

• We will provide machines to use during the event for all projects being made.
• Try out any other machines in our retail shopping store show room.
• Face to face instructions with a professional educator.
• Receive help from our professional and helpful staff members.
• Explore our retail shopping store and purchase any machine or crafts accessories in store.
• Delicious food and various snacks provided throughout the day. Chocolate treats and other various sweets! Vegetarian options will be available.
• If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies and need to bring your own meals, you are free to use our fridge, microwave and toaster oven during the event.
• A true educational experience that will provide you knowledge you can use at home alone.
