Product Introduction

This is a common sign of Fall all over the country and I'm sure we've all picked out the perfect Halloween pumpkin somewhere in our childhood . . . or for some of us, in our childish adulthood. HA! A bit of trivia on this pattern: I was in need of a 12th design in my 1st series of Monthly Mini's and I just couldn't think of anything for September. Out of nowhere, the idea of a pile of pumpkins on a hay rack hit me like a rocket and Bada Bing! It's the hottest selling pattern I have.

Finished Project Dimensions

• 6" x 22"

Materials Needed

• 1/8 yard – light/cream plaid background
• 1/8 yard – green plaid for border
• 1/8 yard – green plaid for binding (need 1/2 yard if cut on bias)

Scraps of Fabric

• 6" x 7" – brown wood grain (wagon/sign)
• 6" x 6" – dark-brown (wheels, wagon, and post for sign)
• 2" x 7" – tan (wagon rail)
• 4" x 4" – green (stems)
• Four 6" x 7" – assorted oranges (pumpkins)
• 8" x 24" - strip of backing fabric
• 7" x 23" - scrap of thin batting
• Fusible Webbing (light-weight)
• Embroidery floss – black, dark-brown, and white for "fall" letters (white fabric paint can be used to write the word fall)
