Product Introduction

Out of all the designs I've ever created, this is by far my favorite. I like to imagine my fingers in the warm beach sand, as I'm freezing in the dead of January! Plus I think I was born with a warm sandy beach in my heart. The button pack is a necessity I think, because ya just gotta have a beach ball and thongs at the beach.

Finished Project Dimensions

• 6" x 21"

Materials Needed

• 4" x 6" - tan strip for background (sand)
• 4" x 8.5" - light-green strip for background (water)
• 1/8 yard – light-blue for background (sky and borders)
• 1/8 yard – light-blue for binding

Scraps of fabric

• 6" x 10" - five assorted sands
• 2" x 2" - red (beach bucket)
• 2" x 2" – white (seagull)
• 8" x 24" – strip of backing fabric
• 7" x 23" scrap of thin batting
• Fusible webbing (light-weight)
• Embroidery floss – white, light-green, dark-green, orange (shovel)
