• Everyone who purchases a qualifying machine package will receive a two-day retreat valued at $650 at our Handi Quilter education studio.
• Classes run from 9:00AM-5:00PM both days. Catered dinner will be provided the first night as well as catered lunches on both days. Breakfasts will be provided by our participating partner hotels.
• Quilters must choose one class from the following available dates;

Every purchase will also include a maximum travel reimbursement amount. Amounts vary according to the machine purchased. Total reimbursement will be the total travel and hotel cost or the maximum reimbursement amount per machine package, whichever is less.

Q. What if my travel is more than the maximum reimbursement amount offered by Handi Quilter?
A. You will cover the difference. Handi quilter will present you with a check that is equal to the maximum travel reimbursement amount or your total travel expenses, or whichever is less.

Q. What hotels can I stay in while I am at the retreat?
A. We are working with local hotels that will provide free breakfast and shuttle services to our quilters while at the retreat. You may however choose to stay wherever you like, but you will need to provide your own ground transportation to and from Handi Quilter from other hotels.

Q. If my travel and hotel costs are much lower than the maximum reimbursement amount, can I receive more money back?
A. No. Handi Quilter will present you with a check that is equal to the maximum travel reimbursement amount or your total travel expenses, or whichever is less.

Q. What if I can’t make it to any of the available classes due to scheduling issues?
A. We hope that all quilters are able to attend and have selected various dates. Unfortunately, if you are unable to attend any of the available dates you will miss out on the promotion. We would encourage you to attend any of our other available education retreats that we hold throughout the year, but you will be responsible for the cost of the retreat and your expenses. The promotion value may not be applied to another retreat.

Q. Is the retreat transferable or eligible for a cash refund?
A. No. It must be used by the customer who purchased the machine. There is no cash value.

Q. If I purchase an Avanté or Fusion with a Pro-Stitcher, may I attend two retreats?
A. No. you will need to choose either the Basic Longarm or the Basic Pro-Stitcher retreat.

Back to School Retreats are two-day, basic, getting-started classes, with two students sharing one HQ Avanté machine in the Handi Quilter studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. Back to School Retreat includes: one 2-day retreat, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, ground transportation in Utah, all materials for classes PLUS travel allowance to be reimbursed toward flights or driving expenses (fuel only, provide receipts) coming to Utah. If other lodging arrangements are made, student must provide own transportation and breakfasts.)
