AUTOMATIC STITCH REGULATOR.
Every stitch is the same length and stays the same even when you change speed or direction. This ensures uniform quality from the first stitch to the last.

AUTO NEEDLE POSITIONER.
The machine can be set to stop with the needle up or down. This minimizes bending or breaking needles and allows for free movement of the machine.

18 INCH ARM.
A larger throat has more space between the needle and the back of the machine. This allows larger quilt patterns without having to roll the material as often.

LASER LIGHT.
The built in laser light makes it easy to follow patterns. Sample patterns are included! The laser mounts on the back of the machine. The ergonomic handles can be moved to the back of the machine for easier use.

HOPPING FOOT.
The hopping foot holds the fabric down while the needle completes the stitch. The foot height can be adjusted for the thickness of batting or material. The foot also allows for stitching next to rulers and templates.

LARGE BOBBIN CAPACITY.
Bobbin capacity is more than double compared to bobbins found in standard sewing machines. This means more quilting and less winding.

BUILT-IN BOBBIN WINDER.
Wind as many bobbins as needed for all quilt tops. Easy to use and winds bobbins while you quilt.

ERGONOMIC HANDLES.
Ergonomic handles adjust up and down to minimize the risk of carpal tunnel injuries. The handles provide easy operation. Reduces fatigue in the wrists, arms, and shoulders. A comfortable rubber coating on the handles offers a great feel.

FRAME.
The frame is designed with home quilter in mind. It is made of 13 ply laminated Baltic birch wood, the highest of quality and strength. Easy assembly. This versatile frame allows quilting lap top to king size quilts. The easy carry deck glides as if floating in air. This allows for effortless quilting. 1 1/4" conduit EMT pipe is not included.

LIGHT.
The light is machine mounted and adjusts for your convenience. Lighting floods the work area, so you can see every stitch, every detail.

	First, let me say that I have experience using longarm machines. I think that makes a difference when considering the usefull of a review. I have owned a mid-arm and tested many of the upper end long arm machines at quilt shows. From my experience the LIzzie has superior control and response comparable with the A-! for example. There was no wobbling back and forth. I could easily retrace my stitch line when doing feathers. Smooth curves were easily achieved as well as free-hand straight lines. On similar mid-arm competitor models I did not feel that this was the case--I had to fight for control to retrace sewing lines and to acheive beautiful feathers that I was able to easily achieve on the Lizzie.

	This is my first longarm quilting machine and I love the TinLizzie 18. I had difficulty doing quilitng on a regular sewing machine but with the TinLizzie 18 I can make a quilt without feeling like I have been in a wrestling match. 	I've had my Tin Lizzie 18 for almost 3 years and have not had one minute's trouble with it. It sews great and the stitches are for the most part very even. Most of the errors have been mine. I live in a mobile home and didn't have much room so I had my poles cut to 5'. I only do lap quilts that are not more than 45" wide so this is no problem. My daughter and I quilt together and have quilted over 100 quilts so far and have been very pleased with the professional results. I'm still trying to master feathers but have been very successful with everything else including stitch-in-the-ditch. I would highly recommend this machine and the fine people at Sewing Machines Plus.

	Before I bought my Lizzie, I went to sewing shows and tested all the long arms on the market. I was impressed with Lizzie's features for the price. It is light weight and handles easily. As a home quilter, it does everything I need it to do. The stitch is "perfect", I've been able to use many different kinds of threads, do lost of ruler work, use the panto board - can't say enough good about this machine and haven't had any problems that weren't caused by my inexperience. Customer service from Sewing Machine's Plus and from Tin Lizzie has been exceptional.

	I am so impressed with this Tin Lizzy 18. I just finished this Silk Dupioni Baptism Quilt for my Grand-daughter and it was just beautiful. The Tin Lizzy 18 was so easy to use.
