Dyson Cool AM06 Air Multiplier Desk fan
Dyson Cool fans - Air Multiplier technology explained
The Dyson Air Multiplier fan with no blades
Dyson fan: Demise of the blade
AM01 v AM06
Dyson Air Multiplier fans and a balloon
Helmholtz cavities reduce the noise of Dyson's Air Multiplier fans
Powerful airflow. Now 75% quieter. To make fans work quietly, manufacturers use slow-running motors to spin the blades. This reduces noise but also reduces power, producing weak airflow. To make powerful fans, they use fast motors to spin the blades - but fast motors create more noise. Powerful & quiet is very difficult to achieve in a conventional fan.
The new Dyson desk fans have been engineered to be quieter, and use a brushless DC motor that consumes 30% less energy than AM01 - yet generate powerful airflow.
Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow.
Streamlined air channels for reduced airflow turbulence make the AM06 75% quieter than AM01.
Engineered to create powerful airflow using less energy than AM01.
Fan can be programmed to turn off after preset intervals ranging from 15 minutes to 9 hours.
With 10 precise airflow settings, sleep timer, on/off & oscillation control. Curved and magnetized to store neatly on the machine.
Airflow con be directed around a room - smooth oscillation with one touch.
Pivots on its own center of gravity.
No awkward safety grilles or blades.
No fast-spinning blades.
2 year limited Dyson warranty on parts & labor.
Your Dyson AM06 Desk Fan comes with a 2 year limited manufacturer's warranty & operations manual.
