A new bobbin case latch and an enlarged bobbin case area make it easier to remove and replace the bobbin.
Sew Heavy Weight Materials With Ease.
The speed control mechanism is operated by microcomputer for precise results. It allows the machine to sew at low speeds. This provides for accurate feed and perfect stitching when sewing heavyweight fabrics, quilting and multiple layers of materials.

I love this machine! I am having so much fun quilting. I am working on Queen size quilt and next a king. runs smooth and works like a charm. I tried out Bernina and thought it was not worth the money to get one it could not fit a double size quilt.

My Juki has been a dream come true. I have mine on a quilt frame and it makes everything so easy. It has a nice big throat for doing large quilts. And the customer service can't be beat!

I have been using this machine for quilting for two years. What a joy!! Easily handles free motion or "stitch in the ditch". Large table helps to control large projects. Speed enough for the fast and controlled enough for those detailed projects.

I saw one at a quilting class and it was lust at first sight. A friend wanted a machine for piecing and quilting and I recommended it. I borrowed his to test drive and bought one for myself. It's strong, it's quiet, it's needed only one repair in six years (but I do have it serviced annually.) The one thing that could be improved is bobbin capacity. New from SewingMachinesPlus the bobbin would only fill 2/3. My local machine guy reset some chip inside the top and now my bobbins fill completely. I recommend it for anyone getting into quilting--as much for what it doesn't do as for what it does do. No starting a seam and having to rip out zigzag, no accidentally pressing a function button. It comes with the presser feet I use everyday. And it's affordable.
