Juki TL-2000Qi Description
Juki has made some incredible improvements to their all new Juki TL2000QI updated quilting and home decor machine. It offers a powerful 1500 Stitches Per Minutes, low vibration due to the aluminum die cast frame and has automatic thread cutting.
This single needle, lock stitch machine is useful for straight stitching and quilting and also for tailoring, dressmaking and home decor items. In addition, the machine includes LED lights and one pedal control for speed and the trimming system. This semi industrial machine has Juki's famous stitch quality along with true drop feed used by many of the best quilters. This workhorse machine comes with a 1/5 inch quilting foot, an even feed foot and an extended bed table. Up to 12mm foot left, easily hems denim jeans.
Key Features
Foot Controller with Thread Trimming Function.
It is possible to automatically trim both needle and bobbin threads by pressing the heel side of foot controller. The foot controller is big enough and it is easy to control sewing start and stop.
LED Light.
This brightens the needle area for better material handling. Cuts down on eyestrain as well.
Automatic Thread Trimmer.
The machine is equipped with an automatic thread trimmer device that simultaneously trims the needle and bobbin threads at the sewing end. All it takes is a gentle push on the push-button. It uses the thread trimming mechanism.
Even Feed Foot.
The even feed foot makes a reliable feed. It ensures beautiful seams when sewing difficult-to-feed fabrics such as georgette and velvets. Also works well on heavy weight materials such as leather.
Sew Heavy Weight Materials With Ease.
The speed control mechanism is operated by microcomputer for precise control. It allows the machine to sew materials at low speeds. This provides for accurate feed and perfect stitching when sewing heavy weight fabric, quilting and multiple layers of materials.
Predetermined Needle Stop Position.
When you stop sewing, the machine comes to an accurate stop with the needle down. To move the needle up or down as desired, simply press the needle up/down button.
Quilting Foot.
The quilting foot is designed for free motion quilting and free-hand embroidery.
Feed Dogs.
The feed dog can be raised and lowered simply by pressing a switch. When quilting, the drop feed allows you to sew curved stitches with ease.
Knee Lifter Lever.
The knee lifter lever lifts / lowers the presser foot without using your hands. The presser foot can be raised as high as 12mm.
Additional Features
Automatic Needle Threader.
The push lever automatic needle threader threads the needle with ease without eyestrain. You can start sewing quickly.
Thread Tension Scale.
The machine is provided with the thread tension scale. Adjust the tension to match the thread and material used.
Easy Bobbin Replacement.
A new bobbin case latch and an enlarged bobbin case area make it easier to remove and replace the bobbin.
Adjustment of Presser Foot Pressure.
Presser foot pressure can be adjusted according to the fabric being sewn by turning a regulator located on the top of the machine.

Although it is only a straight stitch machine, it works great. I am using it on my homemade quilting frame, and wow, it really has speed. I love the option of the speed control as well. I am using it now as my main machine, other one is in the shop getting looked at. I sew every day, so my machines have to be in top condition. I am so glad I bought the Juki. It is a work horse machine.

Although I don't quilt, I exclusively work on wedding gowns and the large table is a dream. Having the ability to adapt to different fabrics with the dial- who could ask for anything more? At high speeds, it doesn't even quiver. I love having my industrial style knee lift and kudos to the thread cutter. Now, if we can just add the continous bobbin winder on the side......

As an avid quilter, I thought I wanted a computerized machine with all the bells and whistles... but I realized that what I actually USE is the straight stitch. I bought this machine both for piecing and quilting on a Little Gracie frame and couldn't be happier. Sews like a dream; great speed and perfect stitches and tension. Just thrilled. Appears to be the workhorse I need. Love it. Especially the foot pedal thread trimmer.

I have been sewing most of my life and have used all sorts of machines/brands. This machine has been a dream. It is quick, smooth, easy. I initially purchased it for free motion quilting and am finding that I'm using it for most of my sewing. By the way, the dealer was wonderful to work with.

I wanted a sturdy, mechanical machine with a large work space. Imagine how delighted I am at the extra convenient features of the presser foot knee lever and the automatic thread cutter. No more pulling the threads back and holding them in place to prevent a thread jam. I love my machine!!

I love, love, love this machine!! I purchased this machine around the end of 2010. It is still going strong! I love the speed and control of this machine. And the foot control with the thread cutter is fabulous! I can go from one piece of fabric to the next without ever having to touch my thread snippers! The knee lifter is another feature I couldn't live without, as well as the needle up/needle down feature. I sew my own clothing and this machine's speed helps me accomplish so much more in a short amount of time. It's easy to oil and thread, although I cannot figure out the auto-threader. For years I wanted an industrial machine because of the speed, but didn't want the motor noise they produce and didn't know if anyone could carry it upstairs to my sewing room. Then there was maintenance issue; who would come to my house if I had a problem with it? This machine can easily go to the repair shop if needed. But I've never had a problem with it. It arrived packed nicely in the box. I like the large table that came with it as well. The machine is very well made and sews beautifully. I have two other Swiss machines (beginning with "B") and they don't compare to the strength of my Juki - and they cost much, much more. In fact, the computerized one is packed away in the closet. This is a fantastic machine at a very good price.

I grew up using my mother's industrial machine and can honestly say I love this machine just as much. This Juki TL2000QI is a workhorse, all the parts are metal and I can also use my industrial feet, thread, etc etc, etc. Best of all, it's portable and small, compared to a normal industrial machine it's great for tiny studio apartments (with no elevators, like mine). I highly recommend this machine.
