Join Brother and Sewingmachinesplus.com for this 3 day Scan-N-Cut University. Each day will consist of creating 4 - 6 projects instructed by the Top 3 Scan-N-Cut Professors in the World. Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, Cindy Hogan and Heather Banks. Each instructor will rotate each day and they will educate you step by step on each project. You must have a Brother Scan-N-Cut in order to follow along this class, if you do not have one, you can purchase the option in the dropdown that includes a Scan-N-Cut with your purchase. However, if you don’t own one of the listed Scan-N-Cuts then you must purchase one in order to participate and follow along in making the projects included in this event. As a special, we will discount $100 off your event ticket if you purchase your Scan-N-Cut at the same time! About Julie Fei-Fan Balzer

The Scan-N-Cut queen; Julie Fei-Fan Balzer is a mixed media painter, collage maker, and avid memory keeper. She is also an author, blogger, TV personality, and teacher. Julie is the host of Scrapbook Soup TV (PBS) and has appeared several times on Quilting Arts TV (PBS) and hosted the “Artist to Artist” segment on Scrapbook Memories TV (PBS). Julie has also appeared on Crafting at The Spotted Canary (PBS). You can catch her every now and then on HSN (Home Shopping Network).

Day 2: Cindy Hogan - Embroidery & Applique Projects

About Cindy Hogan

Cindy resides in Georgia with her husband. She has a BS and MS from the University of TN in Special Education and was a full time Special Education teacher until 2003 when she decided to change career paths and use her knowledge of PE-DESIGN® and Education to be a freelance National Product Training Specialist for the for all Brother Software Programs. Cindy is an internationally recognized Brother Software expert. She is also national recognized as an expert on the Brother Scan-N-Cut and machine embroidery. She teaches classes on the Craftsy Platform and has been a guest instructor on the Hit TV Show “It’s Sew Easy”.

About Heather Banks

Heather Banks is a Brother Sewing Educator. Keeping pace with our changing world, she has transitioned from traveling and conducting in-person events to specializing in online virtual learning opportunities where she has the pleasure of educating users about Brother sewing and embroidery machines. Virtual learning has opened the world of sewing to everyone! With the wide variety of Brother machines at her fingertips there are no limits to the opportunities she can provide!

Candace Trevino is SMP's resident Baby Lock expert. She is extremely knowledgable when it comes to Baby Lock machines, serging and general crafts. Candace can also be seen helping Blaine on some of our live stream events such as SMP Live and our live stream festivals. Whenever we need someone to fill in for a quick segment, whether that be education or general product overviews, we can usually count on Candace to fill in. She will be filling in as a host for this event and is also a Scan N Cut expert herself, so she can help anyone who needs assistance.
