Wool Embroidery Thread Lana No.12
Lana No 12 / Wool No 12 is a finely spun embroidery thread, a blend of 50% wool and 50% acrylic. It is well-suited for stitching onto knitwear and looks beautiful as chenille, loop pile or chain stitch embroideries.
A unique woolen thread, strong enough for use on medium to heavyweight fabrics such as wool, linen and lightweight denim. Our Madeira embroidery thread is particularly suitable for computerized embroidery, overlocking, quilting, bobbin work, free motion embroidery, couching, hand embroidery and cross stitch.
Lana is about three times thicker than standard weight thread and fills designs quickly, meaning at reduced speed Lana produces larger stitches, and the stitched area requires fewer stitches to cover it.
Create the unique and remarkable Lana effect by gently brushing the design with the MADEIRA Lana brush ideal for designs of soft, fluffy and hairy texture, such as animal fur.
