Brother Innov-is 900D Sewing & Embroidery Machine

My Brother 900D is the best thing that I have for sewing. The thread cutter and needle threader makes my quilting look very neat. It is my home machine. I brag about it when I take the my other less expensive Brother to class with me.The embroidery part makes me look like I can do wonders. I love this machine. My husband bought it for me two years ago. He was amazed at the demonstration, and could see why I wanted it for my Christmas present.

Before I bought my machine, I took a sewing class where they provided an electronic Brother machine (not this one, one of the high end ones, don't remember which), and I fell in love with how easy it was to use, and also all the buttons to cut the thread, to thread the needle, to backstitch, etc.). I knew right then, that I'd be buying a Brother machine. Since I could not afford the same model I had in my class, the sales person recommended the Innovis 900d, I knew I wanted an electronic machine, so this machine had this, and I could afford it. Well I've had it for 2 years now, and it's wonderful. On one particular project, I had a lot of layers to sew through, and was nervous that I could break my machine, but no, it did so well. I LOVE my machine. I have only tried the embroidery once, never did this before, (I did have a class to learn how to use the machine, but at that time, I was not interested in embroidery and didn't listen much) and my first time, I got it right immediately just with the easy instructions in the manual. It was really easy. Now I've started making bags, and designed my logo, and I can't wait to try importing my logo into the machine, with the USB, if all goes well, I won't have to pay to have custom labels made, I will be able to do my own. I HIGHLY recommend this machine, it's easy to operate. Two things I hate about sewing, is needle threading, and making buttonholes (and sewing buttons). With this machine, it's so easy, no hassle. When I'm sewing, and it beeps and a message appears to let me know the bobbin is ending, it's really easy to make another one, and put it back...I could go on and on, and I haven't even used all the features yet, but everytime I try something new, it's always easy and fun. The manual is also very well done, easy to understand step by step instructions. I'll stop here... hoping I convinced you that you won't regret buying this machine.

I bought this machine 2 yrs ago when I decided I wanted to get into Machine embroidery. Not knowing if I would use it, much I decided to start with a small machine. this is a great machine. It is easy to learn how to do machine embroidery on. It has a cord so you can attach it to your lap top and down load programs and designs. I have done so much with it! I love the automatic needle threader. By far the easiet of all machines. I teach sewing classes and have worked on many different machines and the brothers is by far the easiest to learn. It also is a great sewing machine. Easy to switch from sewing to embroidery and a smooth and quiet machine. I have enjoyed it and now that I feel confident with it I will probably invest in a machine with larger hoops.

This machine is a gem. I purchased it for the Disney designs and I haven't been disappointed. It is a workhorse. I take it to classes and on trips to my daughter's home in New York. I own the Ellisimo and I use this little machine as a supplement to it. I have not been disappointed. It is quiet and efficient.

I Love this little sewing machine. I have the Quarttro 6000 and it is just to big to keep taking it to all the classes that I do. I wanted this little 900d after seeing how easy it was to take to and from a class. Now when my grandchildren come I can let them sew and not fear that they would harm anything.. No one touches my Quarttro except me and the tech. Now when I go to our summer cottage I can bring along the 900D and not worry if I have room for it . Oh and yes I can be sewing on my Quarttro while my 900D is doing the embroidery. Wow I am enjoying this sewing thing. Thank you Brother for the great machines I now have to for fill my dreams of sewing.
