This jolly table runner will be the perfect way to jazz up your holiday party table. This sewing pattern uses a satin-stitched appliqué and free-motion quilting, making it easy to finish the projects quickly. Runner size: 14" x 44" (can easily be made longer to accommodate your table size). BONUS! Also included: Instructions for making matching 14" x 18" place mats.
Materials needed:
Runner

Red for the binding and ornaments - 1/2 yard
Gold 1 for stars - 12 x 18"

Two Place Mats
These fabric amounts are generous. PLace mats are a great way to utililize all of those fat quarters you've been stashing away! Mix and match the colors from the runner for an ecclectic look.
Green for mat background - 1/2 yard
Red for the binding - 3/8 yard
Gold 1 for stars - 12 x 18"
Backing - 1/2 yard
Warm and Natural cotton batting (2 pieces) - 18 x 22"
Lite Steam-a-Seam 2 fusible adhesive - 1/3 yard
Additional Supplies and Tools
I used Sulky rayon thread for quilting and Sulky gold metallic thread for satin-stiching. You'll also need a non-permanent fabric marker, fabric and paper scissors, and an iron.
