I've had this machine for about 2 months. Free motion work on my standard machines has left me with sore shoulders, arms, wrists and bills from my physical therapist. No More! I've had other long-arm machines but had to give them up due to limited space. My home is only 1100 square feet so space is at a premium. As an avid quilter I was sad to turn the quilt tops over to someone else to quilt; I felt it took away from my being able to complete a quilt from beginning to end. At a quilt show in Denver Colorado I came to the booth where the QQ 18 sit down model was being displayed. I was able to test drive the machine for about 45 minutes, and the representatives were knowledgeable and helpful (as well as patient) with answering my questions. I received free shipping which also helped my decision as that often times if considerable with large items. While I struggled with getting the machine to fit level on the table once I got it settled in its a dream! Now the practicing begins! As a sit-down model I feel I have more control of the quilting and of course the comfort of being able to sit instead of standing. This is the best purchase I've made in the 12 years I've been quilting. I highly recommend this machine!

In a word, fantastic. I don't have the room for a quilt frame in my home so I purchased the 18 inch arm with a table. It makes my free motion quilting 10 times easier than on my regular sewing machine. The table extends in the back and I can have my quilt all laid out so I am not fighting it. It doesn't tire out my arms and shoulders. Best quilting purchase I ever made.
