First of, I am a professional automotive upholsterer. I use my shears all day long, every day. I have used nearly every brand of shears out there, from cheapos you can buy everywhere, to some rather high dollar shears. Nothing beats out KAI shears though. The blades are perfectly sharpened for cutting anything from light lace to 1/8th inch thick leather. They are also perfectly balanced, and exceptionally light weight for how robust they are. Cutting is absolutely effortless with these shears, and the 10" length is just perfect for just about any cutting job. Being long enough to cut a straight line easily, without becoming unwealdy as some of the longer shears can be.
