I was apprehensive when I ordered my sewing furniture, as I had not seen it anywhere - but I made the leap of faith. Two model 810's with extensions, a model 620 for my serger, two 350's, two 420's and the corner pieces to join them. My intention was to create the U-shaped workplace with a serger cabinet at the base of the U, all separated by drawer units.
When they arrived I was amazed - they looked like furniture, not like sewing cabinets. They are actually clad with wood, not just a woodgrain laminate. (Assuming you don't buy the white). When closed they would look at home anywhere - but when open they are very useful and ergonomic sewing enablers.
Pros: The lifts work well and quietly. You push down to activate - one push to activate, then another to raise or lower the machine. Especially with the extensions there is a LOT of room to work - and the gate legs are very sturdy and support the extensions well.
The various cubbies on the doors are useful to hold accessories, but I think that the drawer units are more useful, and plan to add more over time.
Cons:
I have the inserts for my machines, and find it a bit of a bother to lift them out when I need to change bobbins - but I can live with it, and this would be true of any cabinet with inserts.
The little sponge pincushions tend to lift out, but you can put a piece of double sided tape down to hold them.
All in all - I'd buy them again in a minute.
