The Singer 4166 electronic sewing machine has a lot of power in a small package. It is about 3/4ths the size of a standard machine. The weight is only 12.5 pounds yet it has all the features of a full size, expensive machine.

There are 66 stitch patterns that include five types of buttonholes, construction and stretch stitches, decorative and heirloom stitches. Every stitch is optimally set but can be adjusted to your specific need with ease. Other features include needle threader, drop feed, a top drop in bobbin, Auto Pilot and a needle up / down selector.

	I bought this machine about a year ago from Sewing Machines Plus and have not regreted it. It has all the power of a full sized Singer, but is 3/4 the size, making it easier to store and transport. The display is easy to understand and use. On top of that, the number and quality of stitch functions is superb. I've had nothing but great results with the button function and the embroidery function, and the decorative stitches have come in handy for adding adorable borders on recieving blankets. Further, I've used this maching for sewing everything from satin to a thick fleece, wools, and faux leather, and the results are always the same: quality stitches that hold up. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to invest in a great Singer sewing machine.
