Three Stay-Bright LED Lights
With lights on each side of the needle area as well as one light over the large surface to the right of the needle, it is easier to see your work. An illuminated sewing area makes all your sewing more precise. Sewing is also more pleasurable because the well lighted sewing area reduces eye-stain often caused by working in low lighting.

My first embroidery machine was very happy with it, great for sewing doing appliqué ect. outgrew the machine wanted to do bigger embroidery design So I upgraded to baby lock, but could not part with my Singer Futura

I received this machine several months ago and all I can say is that I luv, luv, luv the endless capabilities of the sewing components and the enless possibilities of the embroidery component. This machine is PC compatible and there are so many design sites available with free designs and designs for purchase at a reasonable cost. I have found so many designs that I just had to embroider with my Futura that I just have begun a small sewing/embroidery business. That's on top of my regular job! I spend hours unleashing my creative side with this machine. I love the fact that this machine can receive updates through the PC, which keeps my machine current with all the new technology that Singer has to offer. I would have given this machine a 5-star rating for the creative sewer, but with Singer always improving their product line, it won't be long until they issue another PC update on this machine to help expand our creative side even further. Wonderful product!

I really love this machine. I did a lot of work by hand and it would take a long time, but with the 350 I can do more work in less time. What is so great about the machine is that it just don't do embroidery it also sews. I would not trade it for nothing.

I just love this machine. It did say it was compatible with vista windows, but it is not. Singer people were wonderful. It took 1 1/2 hours on the phone with singer to get the software installed. But the machine is wonderful and so easy to use. I never embroideried before and I am embroidering everything. My first towel looked very professional. I am having a wonderful time. I started making quilts and can embroider something special on each quilt. It is well worth the money.

This is a great machine, if you have the time to learn to use it and a good place to set it up. The surface it sets on needs to be level and very sturdy. You will need to spend time reading the manual and learn to do things, like properly thread the machine and hoop for embroidery. Yes, I know you've threaded a machine before, but this machine is very finicky and if you don't thread it just right, it will not work.
If you are willing to put in the time learning how to use it, plus you have a good place to set it up, you'll love it. If you expect to take it out of the box and have it work without having to really spend time getting things right, you'll be frustrated.

Fantastic machine. I read a lot of negative comments on the internet, but like someone said - "if you ready the directions it works great". I love the machine. The tutorial was very helpful and the folks at Sewing Machines Plus were fantastic!
