I haven't had much chanch to use my machine sence I got it but what I have used has been great I've Sewed all my life and this is taking me awhile to learn as I'm now 72 years of age But this old gal is not down for the count so I'm still willing to learn. My Mom is 96 and sewed and taught me so she would just love to be able to see my new machine she is now Blind. I love it and will write more as I learn.

I have positive and negative review for this machine. It is affordable as embroidery machines go. It does come with many extras you do not have to buy. Alot of extras it does has to be purchased separtly and the disc are costly. I like that you can hook up your laptop for the designs and you can manipulate them to prepare for sewing. The biggest thing I don't like is, you cannot move needle or jog over to a target sticker. I also had trouble with the machine getting out of time after only a couple of months of light use and had to buy a new bobbin case. The only bobbins that you can use are 15J and they are hard to find. you cannot use the ready to go bobbins. Check to see where your nearest Singer authorized repair spot is. Ours is over 3 hours away. Not too convient. You have to have the machine hooked to the laptop to work with the embroidery files. It would be nice to be able to open the Future software and get disigns ready to go away from machine. Overall it is a good starter to get you familiar with the files and how embroidery works.

this is the perfect machine for any mom or grandmom, it has all the right feachers and will keep you busy making all those nice and cute things for the grandchildren. I love it and hope to have it in my sewing room soon.
