Automatic needle threader.

13 needle positions.
The needle position can be changed for individual projects. Handy when inserting zippers or cording and top-stitching.
Snap-on presser feet.
Change from one foot to another easily with Snap-On feet. No need for screwdrivers to change presser feet.
Extra-high presser foot lifter.
The presser foot lifter has 2 heights. The second height offers more clearance. This is needed when placing many layers of bulky fabric under the presser foot.
Sewing speed.

Choose from 3 different one-step buttonhole styles. One step buttonhole sewing is a simple process with reliable results. Each side of the buttonhole is sewn in the same direction, creating beautifully balanced buttonholes.
Needle stops in up position.
The needle always stops in the highest up position when your foot is lifted from the controller. This makes it easier to remove the fabric from the machine.
Push-button stitch selection.
Just push a button to select the stitch and optimum settings for length, width, balance, pressure and tension.
Adjustable stitch length and width.
Optimal settings for length and width are set when choosing a stitch. Automatic settings can be changed to personalize length choice.
Built-in stitches.
Choose the perfect stitch for every project. There are 67 built in stitches and 120 stitch functions. Useful for construction, fashion sewing, quilting, heirloom, crafts, home decorating and decorative sewing.
Built-in stretch stitches.
Specially designed stitches add strength and flexibility to seams. Useful when sewing on knitwear and super-stretch fabrics.
Center zigzag taper.
When tapering with the zigzag stitch, the stitch tapers to the center, not left or right. This presents a better look when tapering into or out of a point.
Optimum Power Control.
Optimum Power Control senses when more power is needed to maintain speed through thick or changing fabric conditions. This is useful when sewing multiple (6-8) layers of fabric.
7mm stitch width.
Most stitches can be set for a maximum width of 7mm. When sewing decorative stitches or satin stitches, the wide stitches are bolder and more pronounced.
Electronic twin needle control.
Stitches are automatically adjusted for twin needle sewing. Just touch a button! Twin needle sewing creates two parallel rows, adding a decorative touch.
Audible tone.
An audible tone confirms pattern and function selection.
Automatic presser foot pressure control.
Presser foot pressure is adusted automatically. Sew the lightest weight tricots to the heaviest denim without making presser foot adjustments.
Top "Drop & Sew" jam-proof bobbin system with clear cover.
This mechanism has a magnet-type vertical axis rotating hook. This ensures smooth and quiet thread-jam-resistant sewing. The bobbin case floats above the hook to prevent thread jams. The bobbin drops in and the machine is ready to sew. The clear cover makes it easy to monitor the bobbin thread supply.
Automatic bobbin winding clutch.
The needle bar automatically disengages when winding the bobbin, This makes bobbin winding safer.
LED lifetime white lamp.
The LED lamp illuminates the sewing surface for best viewing. The long-lasting bulb will work for 100,000 hours. It stays cool, regardless how long the machine is operated.
6-segment feeding system.
This is a specially designed feed dog. It ensures the fabric is picked up and supported from the front of the presser foot to the rear. This makes for much more accurate feeding.
Box feed.
The feed dogs move in a box motion instead of the usual arc. Box motion assures perfect feeding throughout the entire process. The feed dogs are always in perfect and equal contact with the fabric and presser foot.
Drop feed dogs.
A conveniently located lever is easily moved to lower the feed dogs. This makes free-motion embroidery, monograms, and attaching buttons possible.
Aluminum frame.
The frame is the internal skeleton of the sewing machine. This rigid support holds all the mechanisms in proper alignment for perfect, skip-free sewing.
Direct drive.
The needle bar is geared straight from the motor, rather than from a drive bar across the machine. This makes the machine more powerful and durable.
Stitch locking function.
Tie-off decorative stitches with the push of a button. Reinforcing the end of the stitch ensures quality stitching and avoids raveling.
DC motor.

I Love this machine. I have been sewing for 35 years, I have had many makes and models, from now on I will stick to singer.
