Most bobbins are compatible with the SideWinder. However, the following bobbin types do not fit on the SideWinder:
I love this bobbin winder, it is top notch, I take it with me to retreats and then wind as I need.
The only drawback is that it is only compatible with limited machines. I am waiting for a modification or a different model that will wind the pfaff and viking.
But I would highly recommend it, if you do not own the above listed machines.

This has mixed reviews from my sewing room. I think the product could be a bit better.
I purchased this to see if I could make my own nebs. I like nebs better.
I had a problem with the machine breaking the bobbins, not while winding them, using them in my machines.
I have tried different brands of bobbins, only to have the plastic become brittle and break.
I would not purchase this item again.

The construction is light weight, but I have not had a problem with this unit after many months of use using the battery. It does not fit all bobbins, but I took a chance and made some cuts with a Dremel so it now will accept mine. I had purchased at full price and wish I had checked Sewing Machine Plus first.
