The Sew Steady table by Dream World comes in 2 different sizes for home embroidery sewing machines. The legs snap on and off for easy assembly and storage without need for tools. Larger-sized tables come with a movable 5th support leg. It has rounded front edges and comes with a movable static-cling ruler. Covered by a 1 year warranty.
Sew Steady table ships separately from machine. Please allow 2-4 weeks for table delivery. (Machine will ship normally).
I also had a hard time with the automatic threader. Saw a post in a forum that suggested not cutting the thread at the end of the threader. Let it hang about 2 inches. Then put the threader in.... works every time.

I see posts about the automatic threader - another thing to watch is that you are only pressing it from the top. I have had my machine for 2 years now and never had a bit of trouble from the threader. This machine is not like any other sewing machine that you can figure out the threading - it is a definite must read the instructions kind of machine.

Can't use the machine since the automatic threader doesn't work and I don't see instructions for manual threading. Other than that, it sews good when you can get the needle threaded, (about 1 in 75 tries).

I love this machine, its inexpensive and works great. I use it in class with 8th graders. After supervising the first several minutes, I can let them run it, even the rethreading. Hint for other reviewer, you MUST make sure the needle is in the highest point of its cycle or the threader does not work. If you used in in another position you could have damaged the little hook that slips through the eye of the needle and that is why it doesn't work now. It is limited to 4inch frame size embroidery but that helps me limit users so that all get a turn. It takes about 1 class period per student to embroider 1 thing.

terrible trying to make automatic threading cassette feature work! I have email & called Brother for help, and have been at a standstill & not sewing while waiting! Read directions and tried 25 times, changed needle, tried to thread by hand... can't get the machine threaded to do any sewing, and I have 20/20 vision! Bought this model for self threading feature and embroidery with regular sewing at WalMart! Stuck with a new fancy machine for my birthday 2 yrs ago that sits waiting to sew! VERY frustrating.
