The Miele Twist vacuum cleaner is an affordable upright top notch cleaning machine suited for all types of flooring. It has a six-position rotary dial to adjust the power to different surfaces as you clean. The roller brush assembly has its own motor to provide the best cleaning at 4,800 RPM. The brush can be switched off when needed.
The patented SwivelNeck™ makes it possible for the Twist to operate while extended flat on the floor. This is perfect for cleaning under beds and other pieces of furniture. The automatic height adjustment follows contours and ensures even, consistent suction and gentle cleaning on all surfaces.
Miele Vacuum Cleaners Provide Superior Air Filtration
Clean air is important to Miele. The AirClean™ filter captures 99.95% of all dust and dirt particles down to 0.5 microns. By contrast, a human hair is about 100 microns thick. There is also a pre-motor filter that traps airborne particles.
The Miele Type U AirClean™ dustbag is made of tough, multi-ply material that also captures particles at 0.5 microns. The dustbag holds 5.45 quarts with a spring-loaded, self-sealing Auto-Seal™ collar that keeps everything inside when it's time to change the bag.

Swivel Neck™.
Miele's innovated Swivel Neck design allows steering in all directions. It can be laid flat to the floor for getting under beds and furniture.
Park Position.
when in park, the Twist's rear wheels are on the ground. It is easy to roll the vacuum from one location to the next. The foot switch disengages the rear wheels which are retracted into the body of the vacuum enhancing overall maneuverability without exertion on the user.
360 Degree Swivel Casters.
Located on the power head, the casters improve mobility, are smooth running and are rubber coated to protect hard surfaces like tile and wool flooring.
Maximum Agility.
The Twist is very easy to maneuver in every direction without putting stress or weight on the user. When the vacuum is reclined, the majority of weight is carried by the base power head assembly making it easy to hold and remarkably easy to push.
3 Integrated Accessory Tools.
The upholstery nozzle, 12 inch crevice tool, and dusting brush with natural bristles are neatly stored on the back of the vacuum. They are always ready for use.
The tools can be attached to the vacuum's hose handle or attached to the end of the telescopic suction wand.
Rotary Dial Suction Adjustment.
The rotary dial allows a variety of settings to accommodate the surface being cleaned. The dial is labeled with suggested settings for curtains, deep pile, low pile and smooth surfaces.
Innovative Adjustment.
The Twist's power head has a flexible, spring loaded brush roller that adapts to different carpet heights and floor coverings. No manual intervention needed! The automatic height adjustment works by following the contour of the floor. It reaches dust particles found in the depths of deep pile carpeting while the power head always maintains optimal surface contact allowing consistent air flow.
Powerful Two Motor Performance.
The Twist has a strong 1,200 watt Miele-made Vortex Motor System™ that guarantees optimal airflow for excellent suction power. Operation is very quiet. The brush roller is powered by its own 4,800 rpm motor for strong agitation. The separate brush roller motor can be turned on or off to allow seamless transitions from carpets, rugs and bare flooring.
12 foot Extended Reach Hose.
The hose is attached to a lightweight stainless steel 2-piece telescopic suction wand. It is ideal for cleaning an entire staircase, upholstery, furniture and other hard to reach places.
Anti-tip Feature.
The device that attaches the hose to the vacuum cleaner rotates outward and locks into place for increased leverage. This keeps the vacuum from tipping over when using the suction hose.
All Floor Surfaces.
Moving from carpet to hard floors is not a problem with the self adjusting power head and spring loaded brush roll. It can be turned on / off using the fingertip controls.
Large Cleaning Radius.
The 40 foot long cord together with the 12 foot flexible hose and telescopic wand give the Twist a 55 ft. operating radius.
Super Air Clean Sealed Filtration System.
The sealed filtration system is a combination of 3 things:
1)Use of the very best raw materials available.
2)Revolutionary electrostatically charged AirClean™ dust bag with spring-loaded self sealing bag closure.
3)The selection of high quality filters. The Super Air Clean Filter can be replaced with an S7 HEPA filter for better filtration. It is sold separately.
