The heart of this Miele vacuum cleaner is the powerful Vortex Motor. 1,200 watts of vacuum power provides superior dust intake. A second motor operates the electrobrush / brush roller at 4,800 RPM for deep carpet cleaning. The electrobrush has a separate control for best cleaning on various surfaces -- it can be turned on and off as needed. A motor protection indicator monitors motor performance.

There are two main brushes with this vacuum cleaner. One is the powerful Electrobrush roller with an automatic height adjustment for all floor surfaces from hardwood to high-pile carpet. The other is the light weight Hand Turbobrush (STB 101) that is ideal for gently vacuuming stairs, upholstery or car interiors.

The Hand Turbobrush is very lightweight, has a 5-1/4 inch brush roll, an adjustable port design and a 120 degree swivel neck. It works well for gentle cleaning of stairs and aggressive cleaning of upholstery.

The long lasting LED front headlamp makes cleaning under furniture much easier. The generous 39 foot cord provides a large working area to minimize stops. The integrated 12 foot flexible hose extends your reach. Reinforced ergonomic handles minimize stress on your hands and wrist. The S7260 features the renowned Miele AirClean filtration system. The Active Air Clean filter (AAC-30) with active charcoal absorbs odors and removes pet smells with ease. The filter also retains pet hair, dander and any fine particles to keep the indoor air fresh and clean. Providing a healthy home for the entire family!

The electrostatically charged material of the Miele AirClean filter-bag traps micro-sized debris with 9 layers of filtration. It traps and holds 99.95% of particles as small as 0.5 micron. A human hair, by comparison, is about 100 microns thick.

An additional pre-motor filter captures floating dust from the ambient air, as well.

The spring-loaded self-sealing collar on the filter bag protects against any inhaling of dust or dirt when replacing the bag. Removal of the vacuum cleaner content is the same quick and clean experience as vacuuming with the Miele Cat & Dog vacuum cleaner.
