Primary Brushes
The Powerbrush (left) is an electrically driven 10-1/2 inch wide brush roll. It has a floating head and swivel neck design for easy steering. It's ideal on low- and medium-pile carpeting. The Powerbrush performs deep cleaning and can restore crushed carpet nap on moderate density carpets.
The Parquet Twister floor brush (right) works well on wood, tile and other smooth surfaces. It has a mixture of polyamide and natural hair bristles to dislodge dust, dirt and allergens out of crevices and cracks. The Parquet Twister can rotate 90 degrees to get into tight places and around obstacles.

HEPA Filter System.
The active H.E.P.A. (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) captures and holds tiny, lung-damaging particles (including dust mite feces and pollen). It also uses the same Generally Activated Charcoal (GAC) filter that the Active Air Clean filter uses to absorb odors.
This Miele filter conforms to EN 1822, the new stringent European filtration standard. This means that it traps 99.99% of all particles as tiny as 0.3 of a micron.
These filters are very well designed. They only need replacement after 50 hours of use or about 12 months. There is also a spot on the filter to write the date. This takes the guesswork out of when the filter should be replaced.
Dust Bags.
The Miele Earth vacuum cleaner has an innovative, automatic dustbag collar. It's a plastic flap on the AirClean dustbag that closes the bag opening automatically when the dust compartment lid is opened. When the dust compartment lid is closed, a part of the suction hose connector presses the flap open, allowing airflow into the dustbag.
Removal of a full dustbag is convenient. It even offers benefits when the dust compartment lid is opened. When the dust flap is open, the colored hygiene seal in the new collar ensures a tight fit and keeps dust from escaping past the collar.
Extended bag life and improved suction power are two excellent reasons to make sure you use only genuine Miele AirClean dustbags.

Parquet Twister Floor Brush.
The SBB300-3 Parquet Twister floor brush has a blend of polyamide and natural hair. This ensures a gentle cushion when vacuuming. Tile, wood and other smooth surfaces are cleaned thoroughly with extreme care. It has a 90 degree rotation and is exceptionally agile at cleaning around table legs and in tight places.
Powerbrush.
The SEB217-3 electrically-driven Powerbrush has a 10-1/2 inch wide brush roll with floating head and swivel neck design. It is ideal for low-pile and medium-pile carpet care. Recommended for: Deep cleaning and restoring of crushed carpet nap on low- to medium-pile carpets with moderate densities.
SES Electric Hoses.
The SES119 electric hose is required to use electric powerbrushes. Versions vary depending on canister style used.
Wand.
The SET220 telescopic wand provides electrical supply to direct connect powerbrushes and direct connect hoses. Adjust the wand length so you don't have to bend over to vacuum.
Accessories.
Useful for cleaning upholstery, shelves, baseboards, and more. There are three integrated tools.
