Janome Memory Craft 9500 Embroidery Machines never require a separate embroidery attachment. Many competitors' machines have attachments that take up to half a dozen steps just to convert to embroidery. The MC9500 has just two steps: Simply touch the Embroidery mode key, attach the correct presser foot, and you're ready to enter the world of Professional-Style Embroidery. Our patented telescopic carriage arm allows the hoop to move forward, backwards and side-to-side with tremendous flexibility.

Creating unique embroidery designs is so simple. Just touch, drag and drop. If you can point, you can use even our most advanced on-screen editing functions. Bring in your designs from a variety of sources: PC Design Cards, ATA PC Cards, or select from 90 built-in designs.

Edit, combine and add lettering right on screen. The large, bright Touch Screen has the same user-friendly navigation as our top-of-the-line Memory Craft with easy menus and instructions. You can even select which brand of embroidery thread you use. The Janome 9500 can specify color numbers for Janome, Robison-Anton, Madeira or Mettler threads.

	I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED AT FIRST, BUT I THINK ALOT OF THAT WAS THAT I WAS NOT REALLY KNOWLEDGEFUL ABOUT THE MACHINE. IN OTHER WORDS THE MACHINE WAS SMARTER THAN ME. IF IT WON'T DO WHAT I WANT IT TO DO, ITS BECAUSE I DID SOMETHING WRONG. JUST TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE BOOK AND WATCH THE VIDEO(SEVERAL TIMES IF YOU HAVE TO) THE MORE THAT I TRY DIFFERENT THINGS THE MORE THAT I LOVE IT.

	My Janome has performed up to expectations on all accounts. It has a perfect sewing stitch, produces very nice embroidery. It is easy to use, it's best feature IMO is the fact that it doesn't have a embroidery unit. I have had this machine a bit over three years and in all that time, not one single problem.

	After many years of just basic sewing, I can now tackle any fancy sewing, or just mend blue jeans. My neighbor also bought an embroidery machine (another company's product), but she can not sew regular stitches on hers - that is a real plus for me, as it is the majority of my sewing projects. It never breaks the thread, and if for some reason there is a "jam" (my error, not the machine's) the solution is displayed on the computerized screen. The setting choice of sewing speed is wonderful - allows me to mend denims through very heavy seams, and just keeps plugging along at the speed I set. I wonder why I didn't get one years ago when my husband started telling me to "just go buy yourself a new sewing machine". And I am glad I did. And Christmas sewing is great - the 8 grandkids love their names on their quilts, shirts, name tags, whatever.
