Juki Exceed HZL-F600 Machine Features
These are the following key features of the Juki Exceed HZL-F600
Box Feed Technology - In order to provide beautiful seams and outstanding feed performance, Juki adopted box feed system. The conventional feed mechanism is oval motion. This eliminates material shrinking and shifting. The accurate feeding system provides superior stitch quality for a variety of light to heavy weight fabrics.
Light Weight Material - No Fabric shrinkage even sewing on extra light weight materials
Thick Weight Material - Capability to sew from light to heavy weight materials. Thick handles can be sewn with ease
Wide Sewing Space - Extended Sewing Table - HZL-F series has a wider underarm space, with a wider table it is more enjoyable and comfortable to work with large projects.
Free Motion Sewing - With Stable Thread Tensions
Knee Lifting Lever - Presser foot can be raised and lowered by the knee-lifting lever.
Presser foot lift is up to 12 mm when the lever is used.
Dual LED - LED lights brighten the needle area and sewing area for better material handling.
Random Stitches - F600 will create the width of select quilting stitch patterns automatically and at random. This will give your quilting project an enjoyable look without any hassle.
Foot Control - The new HZL-F series trims both needle and bobbin threads automatically by pressing the heel side of the foot controller. With this feature you can concentrate on your project while automatically cutting the thread.
Powerful Feeding - The HZL-F series has powerful feeding thanks to a special steel feed dog and improved presser foot construction. Heavy material projects, such as hemming denim jeans, can be sewn with ease.
Sensor Method Buttonhole - Using a unique sensor method, HZL-F series sews beautiful buttonholes regardless of the type of material and overlapped sections.
Buttonhole - 16 Types of buttonholes are available for your needs

Just upon opening the box, the quality of the materials is quite impressive! The extension table is HUGE compared to the ones I've used before. It is solid and sturdy, and the little feet under it are rubberized enough that unlike others it doesn't slide all over the table!
The machine itself is a hoss! It's big and tough and solidly made. It's weight is plenty to keep it stable and yet not so much that I couldn't port it around if I wanted. And it's absolutely stunningly beautiful! The body is plastic, but of good quality an has nice shine to it. The LCD screen lights up nicely and is perfectly sized. It's so unbelievably simple to use and set up that I was sewing on it before I ever opened the manual. The manual is one of the best I've seen of many many others. Even the paper it is printed on is really good quality. It's simple and straight forward, easy to read and understand!
Keeping in mind this is just an initial review, I have only done a couple of minor sewing functions but here is my take on that: First off winding the bobbin is soooo easy! It literally does it automatically. Once you set the bobbin and pull the mechanism to it, it starts automatically without my pushing the pressed foot!!!! So cool! The needle threaders works PERFECTLY! I've had several machines that have auto threaders and they either are a joke or become one very quickly. This one is top notch! The stitch quality is as good as it could possibly be. And changing the settings on the stitches is literally intuitive.
I haven't even begun to look at the electronic manual yet (DVD), but I'm really looking forward to it! All in all, I can completely sum up my entire initial impression in one sentence. With the ONLY exception being computer connectivity, or automatic embroidery functions that high dollar machines offer; I could NEVER be convinced that ANY machine out there could be better at all!!! I have tried and inspected several, and I could not justify ever spending more on any brand of machine unless it has a whole LOT more functions than this Juki JEM! And i know for sure that any that offer more functions and features, are several TIMES more expensive!!! I could not possibly be more happy, or more impressed with this machine! Provided it does in fact have the quality and endurance that it appears to have, (and only time will tell), then I am a Juki fan for life!!!!

I began sewing on my machine 45 minutes after I unpacked and assembled it! The directions were very easy to follow - I was able to thread the machine and bobbin with no problem. I love the assortment of stitches the Juki F600 has - and look forward to quilting many quilts on my new machine!
Best machine I've ever had!

I've owned almost every brand of sewing machine out there and almost bought the Janome 6500 a few weeks ago; but this machine by far oustshines and outperforms even the Janome for less money! The machine is so quiet and there is little to no vibration even when sewing full speed! How many times have you fought with your machine to stay in one place while sewing a large project with long, straight seams?
The threading is a little different than what I'm used to, but the learning curve for this machine is easy to master. The stitches are consistent no matter what type of fabric. The thread cutter on the foot pedal is great, just be careful the first few times you sew, I accidentally cut my thread when putting my heel down.
I love everything about this machine and highly recommend it. The price at Sewingmachinesplus beats all other dealers, too!

This is an excellent sewing machine. It's very quiet, solid, sews really heavy weighted fabrics and multiple stacked seams with ease. It's very easy to thread and program. I had one problem with my model, the bobbin winder did not work properly. I contact JUKI Inc. Their rep contacted me right away with the solution. I was able to correct the problem myself, with their diagrams. JUKI gave me the option of making the correction myself or taking it to a JUKI dealer in my city, without a charge. I gave it a try, and the repair worked perfectly. I really enjoy this sewing machine.

EVERYTHING! The buttonholes are beautiful. I sewed my first one yesterday and decided the double stitched one was best for the pants. No disappointments here. I have used many of the decorative stitches on various garments. Although the alphabet isn't embroidery by any means, it is adequate. Quiet, this machine is in no way loud even at top speed. The control of the cutting and presser foot without hands comes in handy.
