The electric lift is very strong (75 pound capacity), easy to use and effortless at the touch of a switch. The new optional Auto-Stop feature makes using your lift even easier and extends the warranty to 5 years. Preset the lift to stop at the flatbed position (where you would use an insert) and it will stop at that level perfectly every time, eliminating the hassle of running it up & down until you hit the right spot. Then, if you want to use your machine in the free-arm position you simply hold the bypass switch and press the rocker switch to go up until the unit stops again by itself. See the instruction in the Auto-Stop section of this product page.
Note: Shown in the top image is the current structure of the electric lift, but wiring is now a separate power pack that attaches to the switch (pictured here).
The Standard Height of the lift is 23 Âľ (pictured above) with a total travel height of 17 ÂĽ".

The "wings" or platform supports can be adjusted to change their width, but take care as excessive bending may damage the powder coating. Typically, they wings measure 17 Âľ" to 18" from front tip to tip. From the back of the mounting bracket to the first edge is 3" and to the front tip is 11".
The Mounting Brackets top & bottom are 11 " wide by 2 3/16" deep at the bottom with a back mount flange that comes down ". There are three 3/16" holes across the mounting brackets on each top, bottom and the back flanges (exception: the middle holes on the back flanges are ¼") measuring from the sides are ½" and the middle hole 5 11/16". The top & bottom holes are 1 7/16" from the back and the flange holes are 9/16" from the top or bottom per case.
Electrical cord consists of a C-13 typically, C-5 or C-7 connector to US NEMA 5-15P plug.
You can use petroleum jelly (Vaseline) to coat the exposed metal to prevent rust and keep the operation of the lift quiet. For longer service: Never allow your lift to slam into the top or bottom (Auto-Stop v2.0 add-on prevents this). Check the movement & condition of cords for wear, cracking and freedom of movement.
Your Electric Lift comes with a 1 year parts & labor manufacturer's warranty on moving and electrical parts, i.e.:
The additon of the Auto-Stop feature doubles the warranty to 2 years. Warranty is voided if Lift is misused. Lift mechanisms should be inspected for wear, alignment and function at least yearly and maintained accordingly to prevent failure. A failure of the Lift could result in a vertical fall. Failure to maintain proper function of your Lift may result in other damages for which we are not responsible.

Perhaps better than saving on wear and tear on the lift itself, extending the warranty to 5 years, this consumer friendly feature removes the hassle of seeking that just-right position for your insert/filler for working as a flatbed machine.
Press & hold the UP/DOWN switch as usual until the lift stops by itself at either the bottom or Flatbed position. To continue to the Free-Arm position, hold the bypass button and then press UP/DOWN switch in the UP direction until the lift stops on its own. To return to the Flatbed position press DOWN until the position is passed then go UP again until it stops. To park at the bottom hold the UP/DOWN switch in the DOWN direction until it stops.
Auto-Stop installed on lifts before May 1, 2014. Press and hold the UP/DOWN switch as usual until the lift stops by itself at either the bottom or Flatbed position. To continue to the Free-Arm position hold the UP/DOWN switch in the UP direction and tap the Bypass button until the lift continues to rise without it, then ONLY hold the UP/DOWN switch in the UP direction until it again stops on its own. To park at the bottom hold the UP/DOWN switch in the DOWN direction until it stops
CAUTION: DO NOT HOLD THE BYPASS BUTTON IN as it will bypass the other limits as well and void the warranty.
Turn the threaded rod, located behind the lift rail opposite the drive rack, to adjust the Flatbed position stop by using the two jamb nuts found about 6" from the bottom of the lift WITH THE MATCHINE IN PLACE (as viewed from above). Turn the rod counter-clockwise to lower the position & clockwise to raise the position. Be sure, when checking the setting, to lower well past the level & then raise again.
Once the level is set properly it should remain exactly the same each time. However, due to the accuracy of the Auto-Stop positioning any significant change to the weight on the lift - such as adding something to the machine - may change the stop location. If the weight does change, if you change the machine altogether for instance, it is simply a matter of re-adjusting the stop for the new weight.
A lift that comes with the Auto-Stop option already installed automatically has the lift warranty extended to 5 years.
Owners of Galaxy Cabinet's current rectangular rail lift made since 2013 can have the Auto-Stop feature added after sale. Though it won't extend the warranty to 5 years (when added post purchase), it will provide added protection against the harsh conditions of running into the top or bottom and up & down jerks to get to the right Insert position, extending the life of the motor and components.
