Get a clean exquisite look to your next project with serged seam finishes. Your seams will lie flatter and look greater with an overlock stitch.
When working on home decor projects and fabrics, a serger is often suggested for rolled hems, secured seams and differential feeds. Try out a 3 or 4 thread look. Enjoy the new and easy threading method. The 1034D features two needles and 3/4 thread with differential feed.
Create stitches from 2.0 to 4.0 mm in length. The differential feed has a ratio of 0.7 – 2.0 which provides improved stitch quality. The free arm makes it easier to sew sleeves, trouser legs and other hard to reach places.
3/4 Thread Stitching Configurations.
Choose between 3 or 4 thread cut and sew serger stitches.
Easy to follow lay-in threading with no eyelets.
I bought this for myself used it once and I have always trusted the Brother name. My sewing machine and the one I just bought my daughter are both Brothers.

I enjoy using it. I would certaily recommend it for economy and performance. However I wouid prefer an instruction book as opposed to instructions on a disk.

I am a beginner sewer and this machine has been super easy to use. The threading directions are easy and it's sewn fabulosly. I've used it for a handful of projects and each has sewn out great. And you can't beat the price.

The Brother 1034-D serger is my favorite serger.
If you haven't used a serger before, or even if you have, the lay-in threading with simple diagrams on the machine itself make this one easy to thread.
If you want to do more than just serge seams, this machine is for you. You can create rolled hems, ruffles, blind hem, and more.
Many accessories are included, and more are available.
I have always trusted the Brother name for sewing machines, sergers, and printers.

The Brother 1034D is a fabulous serger for beginners and experienced sewers alike. Above all, it is easy to thread for a serger and it comes packed with features and accessories. It runs well and seems to be really good quality. I have owned one for 3 years and could not be more pleased with it.
