Image 0 Well it’s that day of the week again, and time for another easy tutorial on one of the most widely used stitches..the topstitch. To get started let’s see what you’re going to need. First you’re going to need your choice of fabric, medium to heavy fabrics are the best for this stitch. Next you’re going to need a universal or topstitching needle, 90/14 or 100/16 or twin needle, size 3.0/90, 4.0/90 or 6.0/100 works best. Topstitching, buttonhole twist or jeans thread is also your best choice when it comes to needle thread, and all purpose polyester sewing thread for your bobbin.
