The cabinet's air-lift mechanism raises and lowers your sewing machine into place with a simple push. The mechanism is adjustable for all types of sewing machine base heights. The 4 large drawers, 4 accessory trays on the door and a recessed compartment in the top offer all the storage space you will need! The cabinet has two fold out leaves supported by sturdy supports that create additional work surface for all your sewing projects.
The classic oak-grain finish complements any decor. The cabinet's furniture edges and brass handles allows your cabinet to blend into any room and match other oak furniture. These are the known machines that will not work - there may be more. The only guaranteed way to confirm that a machine will work in these cabinets is to measure it.
A custom insert cannot be made for the Viking Designer Diamond, Designer SE; 830, 850, & 870 Sapphire; and Designer Topaz 20 & Designer Topaz 30.

The end result is very satisfactory. Looks good, and (most important) wife is happy.
Assembly is complex. Took me about 5 hours to put it together. Instructions are accurate, but sometimes difficult to interpret. Note that the inside partition for the drawer section is labelled "F" on the partition itself, but is referred to as partition "D" on the instructions - I spent 20 minutes searching the packing for partition "D" until I finally figured it out.
All the parts were there, all holes lined up, and the connecting bolt system worked very well.
In all, a good purchase.
