Who says that snowmen are just for the winter? It’s been two years since we designed a complete snowman collection and we decided to put a different spin on then this time. We decided to design a different snowman for each month of the year. For winter we have a Christmas, snow and valentines snowmen, for spring a mothers day, April showers and St Patrick’s snowmen, for summer a 4th of July, beach and gardening snowman and finally for fall a back to school, scarecrow and spooky snowman. We created each snowman three different ways, the first two versions are applique designs for the 5” x 7” and jumbo hoops and the third way is a 5” x 7” stitched version. You can use the monthly snowman on quilts or on garments.
For this project we decided to design four different seasonal quilts. The quilts can be displayed separately each season or all together in a large wall hanging. As an added bonus we created another set of designs that show the name of each month and are then embellished with seasonal details. The monthly designs are almost a collection onto themselves. The month names come in two sizes each and can be used on their own or to further embellish the snowmen. We’re sure that no matter what you decided to embroider the snowmen on you will love them each month of the year.
